Lovely Mel Badsey , intimate wedding and elopement photographer, got in touch with me to share a beautiful styled wedding photography idea. She was gathering resources for an elopement photo shoot the Australian Grampians, and she asked if I would like to supply a painted jacket that captured the theme. I said yes!!
Then followed a super speedy design process, and the fastest jacket painting I have ever done to ensure the piece reach Mel in Australia ahead of the shoot. There was also quite a lot of wishing, hoping and preying to the god of Postal Deliveries .
All the preying and finger crossing worked and my painted jacket got to Mel just in time. Take a look at how the shoot came together, it’s beautiful!

Shot just before the Covid19 pandemic hit the word and plunged so many weddings and celebrations into so much uncertainty the intimate elopement concept – just a birde a groom and a celebrant really resonates.
